# Manage Your FORXEA Account Settings and Preferences

> Learn how to update your profile, manage security settings, review trade history, and control notifications from your FORXEA account dashboard.

Your FORXEA account settings give you full control over your profile, security configuration, data preferences, and the way the platform communicates with you. Keeping your account details accurate and your security settings up to date is an essential part of trading responsibly. This guide covers every major section of the account dashboard and explains exactly what you can change and how.

## Accessing Account Settings

To open your account settings, click your **avatar** in the top-right corner of the platform and select **Account Settings** from the dropdown menu. The settings dashboard is divided into four main sections:

* **Security** — password, two-factor authentication, active sessions, and activity logs.
* **Notifications** — configure how and when FORXEAcontacts you.

To revoke a session you do not recognise, click **Revoke** next to it. To log out of all sessions simultaneously, click **Revoke All Sessions**.

<Warning>
  If you see an active session from a location or device you do not recognise, revoke it immediately and change your password. Contact FORXEA support if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

## Closing or Pausing Your Account

If you wish to close your FORXEA account or place it on hold, navigate to **Account Settings → Account** and select **Request Account Closure**.

Because account closure involves compliance checks and the unwinding of any open positions, this process is handled by the FORXEA support team rather than automatically.

**Before submitting a closure request, be aware of the following:**

* All open positions must be closed before your account can be fully deactivated. If you submit a closure request with open positions, FORXEA support will contact you to arrange their closure.
* Any pending limit or stop orders will be cancelled as part of the closure process.
* Your account data and trade history are retained for the period required under applicable financial regulations, even after closure.

If you want to temporarily pause trading activity rather than permanently close your account, mention this when you contact support — a pause option may be available depending on your account type.

<Note>
  For account-level issues, including problems with closure requests, verification holds, or disputes, contact the FORXEA support team directly via the **Help** section of the platform or by emailing [support@FORXEA.com](mailto:support@tyndra.com). Support is available Monday to Friday during market hours.
