## Identity Verification

FORXEA requires all traders to complete identity verification before placing live trades. This is a regulatory requirement designed to protect you and maintain the integrity of global markets.

**What you'll need:**

* A valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, national identity card, or driving licence)
* Proof of address dated within the last three months (e.g. a utility bill, bank statement, or official government letter)

**How long it takes:**

Verification typically completes within **1–2 business days**. During busy periods, it may take slightly longer.

**While your verification is pending:**

You can still log in, explore the platform, customise your workspace, and view live market data. However, the ability to place trades is unlocked only once your identity has been successfully verified.

<Warning>
  Make sure the documents you upload are clear, unobstructed, and fully legible. Blurry, cropped, or expired documents will delay verification. FORXEA may ask you to resubmit if a document does not meet the required standards.
</Warning>

Protect your FORXEA account by configuring the following security settings as soon as your account is active:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)">

  </Step>

  <Step title="Review Active Sessions">
    In **Account Settings > Security > Active Sessions**, you can see all devices and locations currently signed in to your account. If you spot any session you don't recognise, revoke it immediately and change your password.
